LibGMP Update

LibGMP has been updated to the latest version 6.1.2. Also with this updates comes the default use of assembly optimisations for both 32 and 64 bit systems. This results in considerable performance improvements to the library. To correspond with this both nettle and gnutls have a new dash release which uses the updates to the newest libgmp version dependency. As always the latest releases are available on the Projects page while still allowing access to any previously supported releases. The latest FFmpeg build has also been updated to use the latest versions of the new libraries as well.

FFmpeg Now Inlcudes CUDA and CUVID

The Provided FFmpeg projects and builds have now been updated to take advantage of the newly merged NVIDIA CUDA and CUVID hardware acceleration capablilities. Combined with the existing NVENC functionality it is now possible to have a complate decode (using CUVID) and encode (using NVENC) chain accelerated complatetly using NVIDIA GPUs. As this is using the new dynamic loading capability it means that the builds will still work fine for anyone who does not have a NVIDIA GPU while allowing the additional functionaility for anyone who does own an appropriate card. As always the latest releases are available on the Projects page while still allowing access to any previously supported releases.

GPG-error Update

Libgpg-error has been updated to the latest version 1.25. To correspond with this both libgcrypt and libssh have a new dash release which uses the updates to the newest gpg-error version dependency. The Opus project was also updated with a fix so that DLL export libs are now properly generated and the download on the release page has been updated to include this. As always the latest releases are available on the Projects page while still allowing access to any previously supported releases. The latest FFmpeg build has also been updated to use the latest versions of the new libraries as well.

Harfbuzz Update and GnuTLS fix

Harfbuzz has been updated to the latest version 1.3.3. There was also a bug discovered in the GnuTLS version provided on this site that effects some systems depending on their available cpu features. This has been fixed and the latest GnuTLS release (3.4.16) has been updated with the fixes. If you have used an older GnuTLS version then make sure you download the latest from the Projects page or update your repo with the latest changes. As always the latest releases are available on the Projects page while still allowing access to any previously supported releases. The latest FFmpeg build has also been updated to use the latest versions of the new libraries as well.
